BRETT TOMBERLIN
Producer

As President, Brett Tomberlin oversees the corporate operations, playing a key role in the strategic direction for the Company’s production and distribution decisions.

From the stage to the screen, as creator, executive producer and consultant, his credits include the following to date: ASIFA Hollywood’s 33RD ANNUAL ANNIE AWARDS; NBC Studios’ PAGES, IDW’s AN EVENING WITH COSTANZA and SCU’s LATENIGHT, LAUGHS AND LENO. He is currently in pre-production on IDW’s first feature film, based on the life Sarah Winchester and the WINCHESTER MYSTERY HOUSE.

Tomberlin started his career as a production consultant with Warner Brothers Studios and Andy Ackerman Productions in Burbank, California. In that time span he has worked on such productions as 20th Century Fox’s LIFE ON A STICK, NBC Studios’ COME TO PAPA, THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO, ELLEN and CBS Studios’ LISTEN-UP. In 2004, Tomberlin joined the Master Replicas Company overseeing the Walt Disney Studios and Disney Theme Park accounts. Tomberlin became Creative Director for Master Replicas and during his tenure produced the merchandise offering for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, DISNEYLAND PARK’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY and THE DISNEY SHOWCASE COLLECTION franchises. Today, his extensive management background in all aspects of entertainment production, combined with a thorough grounding in buyer behavior, marketing research, advertising and financial management have made Tomberlin one of the youngest executives in the industry.

A graduate of Santa Clara University, Tomberlin received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business, majoring in marketing with emphasis in Operation Management and Information Systems.

HEATH PACKARD
Production Manager

Heath Packard is the Production Manager for IDW’s Winchester Mystery House FRIGHT NIGHTS.

He comes to IDW after two years in the design industry and five years in the secondary education and wellness industries. As an experience designer at IDEO Heath helps companies improve their culture and community. His work focuses on talent development, community development, event management, and wellness. In all he does, Heath engages his passion for understanding human behavior, facilitating transformation, and designing unique experiences.

Heath holds a B.A. in Religious Studies and a minor in Philosophy from Santa Clara University. He is pursuing his M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara and interests in triathlon, psychology, and theology.

KATHRYNN COBBS
Show Director

When the production team of Imagination Design Works® was in need of a Show Director, they turned their sites onto their first and obvious choice, Kathrynn Cobbs. Her many years of experience in acting and theme park entertainment made the decision easy. Kathrynn has performed a spectrum of roles at Disney®, Universal Studios®, as well as in film and television. Whether she is portraying a princess or a victim chased by a killer, Kathrynn’s depth in the craft of acting is limitless.

Kathrynn studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, CA and additionally studied history in Fullerton, CA. She feels these two subjects work hand in hand when storytelling.

Kathrynn said of this event, “I am thrilled to be a part of Winchester Mystery House® FRIGHT NIGHTS™ event in its first year. To be able to tell the story of Sarah Winchester and the magnificent property she had built, is an honor. I could not be more excited to help bring the “CURSE OF SARAH WINCHESTER MAZE” to life.”

JEFF SCHIEFELBEIN
Production Designer

Jeff Schiefelbein has been bringing his take on horror to the haunted attraction industry for over 15 years. As the creator of Sinister Pointe, Jeff has designed and built haunts all over the United States and throughout the world. Jeff has worked with such companies as Konami Games (SILENT HILL MAZE), Lionsgate Films (The Official SAW Haunted Attraction) and The Queen Mary (DARK HARBOR) just to name a few. Jeff is really excited to be a part of the Winchester Mystery House's haunt team for 2011 and looks forward to working with them in the future.

JON AUTOPSY
Composer

Jon Autopsy is a Southern California musician with over a decade of experience in the haunted attraction industry. In just the last few years, Jon has written soundtracks for large scale Halloween-themed events such as the Queen Mary's DARK HARBOR, THE EMPTY GRAVE, and SINISTER POINTE, just to name a few. His debut album "N IS FOR NIGHTMARE", which features his haunting style of music, dropped this past summer.

The inspiration for many of the characters and set design of the Curse of Sarah Winchester maze came from screening 200 plus hours of classic and modern horror films.
